John Mark - BJH 7th grade football

GAME DAY! DOWN SET HUT
STYLIN'

TIP TOE!
GONE!
IS IT IN YOU?
John Mark missed 4 games with a broken arm. Even with a broken arm, he went to every practice on time actually arriving at least ten minutes early each day. He worked out with the team doing all the drills except for any contact. I received a call from the coach after 6 weeks of practicing and 3 games played with out him. The coach wanted me to know that in his 29 years of coaching football he'd never seen a kid stay with it like John Mark. He said he had to remind himself on more than one occasion that John Mark had a broken arm. When John Mark broke his arm I told him we'd take it one day at a time. He was obviously upset at first, but he kept his spirits up and persevered like a real trooper. During this game against Hurst he scored two touchdowns. He was pumped!
